v2.90.0
Finishing all 18 repetitions used to end with a simple promise to see you tomorrow. That was right when the Journal was current, but it was the wrong ending when earlier days still needed attention. The app already knew that history was unfinished, yet the focus writer gave you nowhere to go next.
The completion state now checks the live backfill queue. When anything remains, it shows the number of unfinished days and a clear Keep going action for the oldest one. The celebration stays intact, but it becomes a handoff instead of a stop sign.
Tapping Keep going changes the date, progress, and writing field inside the same focus window. There is no trip through the full Journal and no need to find the correct day again. Any repetitions already written on that date remain in place, and focus returns directly to the next empty line.
Untouched skipped days are part of the queue too. Each completed backfill offers the next unfinished day until the history is clear. When nothing remains, today's practice still closes with see you tomorrow, while the final historical day confirms that you are all caught up.
The prompt shares one compact completion row with a 44-point action. The destination date appears when space allows and yields on narrow phones before the count or button can overflow. The layout has been checked at desktop, standard phone, and 320-pixel phone widths.
One short email when something meaningful ships. No streaks required.
