Private images now live in dedicated object storage instead of competing with journals and tasks for database space. Account-level image limits prevent an accidental upload loop from consuming unbounded storage.

Every save does less work

Task edits and journal entries now update their typed database rows incrementally. Unchanged rows stay untouched, which cuts repeated writes while preserving the fast local experience and cross-device recovery.

Deploys are safer and operations are visible

Database upgrades are versioned and run exactly once before a new release accepts traffic. Short-lived ledgers clean themselves up in bounded batches, while private health telemetry tracks database size, write-ahead log growth, dead rows, connection waits, and query latency.
