A task that reaches its due date now moves into Today automatically, even if you never starred it. Overdue work stays there until it is finished or its date changes.
A due task cannot be quietly dragged back into Inbox. Its date is the promise, so moving or clearing that date is the honest way to defer it.
Every task says where it lives
The task sheet now has one compact status picker for Inbox, Today, and In Progress. No hidden drag gesture is required, and the sheet finally tells the truth when a task is already in progress.
A play button beside the task title moves it into In Progress and starts work in one tap.
In Progress is now a place to work
Tap Focus in the In Progress header for a full-screen timer centered on the first item. Pick 15, 25, 45, 60, or 90 minutes, pause or reset, and move through the queue without returning to the list.
The countdown keeps honest time across routes, backgrounding, and refreshes. Close the room and the compact header clock keeps ticking without adding another permanent bar to the phone.
Mark a task done from the focus room and the next item is ready. When the queue is clear, the room closes quietly.
