Swipe to any Daily Notes date

Daily Notes now makes its compact phone calendar a real date picker. Swipe the week strip, find the day you want, then tap it and begin writing on the first bullet.

  • Swipe right to reveal the previous week and swipe left to reveal the next week.
  • Browsing dates no longer changes the open note, moves the caret, dismisses the iPhone keyboard, or interrupts automatic saving.
  • Tapping yesterday opens its daily note immediately. A blank day remains absent from storage until you add meaningful content.
  • Future days remain available for planning, while older saved daily notes remain reachable through the same week-by-week navigation.
  • Vertical page scrolling remains native. Short, vertical, cancelled, multi-touch, and mouse gestures cannot accidentally move the week.
  • The delayed click some iPhones emit after a swipe is suppressed, so lifting your finger cannot accidentally open the date underneath it.
  • Weeks spanning two months load both months' saved-note metadata, keeping calendar dots accurate across every boundary.
  • Regression coverage reproduces Monday, July 27, swipes back to July 20 through July 26, and confirms that Sunday, July 26 opens with its first bullet and no premature write.
