The whole task in one tap

The plus sign now means create

Tap the plus beside In Progress, Today, or Inbox and the full task sheet opens immediately. The destination is already selected and the cursor is waiting in the title, so you can add a due date, checklist, repeat schedule, status, and notes before you leave.

No more add, find, and edit

Previously, a section plus opened quick capture, created the task immediately, and then made you find that new row and open it again for details. The new flow creates the finished task once when you close the sheet. Close an unnamed sheet and nothing is added.

The permanent Add button still does exactly what quick capture is good at: getting a thought into Inbox immediately. The Repeating plus still goes straight to the full habit composer, where schedules and counts belong.
