Flick the to-do sheet down to close it

Closing a to-do used to depend on dragging the sheet a long way down; a quick flick would spring back, which was genuinely annoying. Now it reads how FAST your finger moves, not just where it ends up — so a quick flick down throws the sheet away like it should, and a slower deliberate drag closes it too.

  • Flick or drag down to close. Flick or drag up to expand to full height. A small accidental nudge no longer jumps it to full.
  • Prefer not to gesture? There's now a plain "Close" on the handle bar, and tapping the dimmed area above the sheet still closes it — three easy ways out.
  • While you're typing a note, a stray drag won't close the sheet and lose your text — only a deliberate flick will.
