One shell, one release
A tab holding an older cached stylesheet could briefly receive newer navigation markup. On desktop that exposed the full and compact labels together, pulled Add and More to the top of the rail, revived the old floating plus, and left the Journal badge fighting for the same space as its name.
The structure-critical navigation rules now travel inside the app shell itself, so even that mixed-cache state renders correctly. The service worker also refuses to place a future shell inside an older build cache, preventing the mismatch at its source on subsequent releases.
Desktop keeps one clean 216-pixel rail with Add at the bottom. Mobile keeps exactly five stable destinations: To-Do, Journal, Goals, Add, and More.
